My Stand Starts Here!

Being intensely shy and self-deprecating does not seem to be a unique characteristic in a writer or cartoonist or illustrator or filmmaker. I've decided it's time to forgive myself for that, and join the world at large. No, I haven't been under a rock up until now. I've actually done quite a lot by some standards -- have been published for years, taught, studied, wrote a book and several scripts, made a few films and a couple people -- and I want to share them. So, I am going to face down my dread of social situations and my fear of death by a thousand critics, and here is where I begin my stand. With teeny-tiny baby-steps.
